WHEELCHAIR SLIPPER

wheelchair slipper

Wheelchair Slipper details:

* Check with sports teams, such as wheelchair dancers. They often have expensive chairs with expensive wheels that tend to get damaged during transport. This is a nice what to protect the wheels.

* Check with retirement homes, nursing homes, long-term care facilities. In rainy countries such as Sth Island New Zealand, the staff are frequently cleaning up after the occupants when they go in and outside.

The slippers wear very well and wash well. However, we do not dry them but allow them to air dry.

The main issue is that it is a new product and no one has heard of it before. please put them on in a display case, it is not obvious what they are for, so people may just go by. That is why the video or some kind of demonstration is very useful.

They fit easily over 24 inch wheels and we understand that they may also go over 25 inch wheels.

The whole point of the wheelchair slippers is to keep your house and hands clean. It does not really matter about the climate. But the rainer the climate, the dirtier the house.

In many cultures, able bodied people change their shoes when they come into a house. Now wheelchair users can do the same thing. By putting the wheelchair slippers on, it keeps the dirt from the outside off of the floors and carpets. Houses get dirty in all kinds of climates.

The last question is the easiest to answer and in someways the hardest. Wheelchair Slippers are extremely easy to put on. Just have a look at the demonstration video. It shows how to do it. First, you put them on half way, then move the wheelchair back a bit and put them on the rest of the way.
